Subscriptions

Subscriptions via Stitch provides a seamless, easy-to-integrate payment method for you to collect funds from your customers, on a recurring basis.

Stitch manages the recurring fund collection process on your behalf, removing the need for you to manage billing cycles, multiple payment methods and running processes for regular collections. Stitch also provides the ability for the user to select multiple payment methods for collection, which includes fallback payment methods to ensure successful collection for any failed collections.

Additionally, usage-based metrics may be submitted for users who are on a Subscription Plan with a usage-based billing model, whereby Stitch will calculate and collect the relevant amount based on the user's usage.

At a high-level, integrating Subscriptions entails:

• Subscription Plan creation per product/service subscription: This details a particular subscription that is possible for a user to sign up and be billed for, on your platform.
• Subscription Collection creation per collection instruction, for a particular user's subscription: This provides the instruction to Stitch to actually bill a user for a specified Subscription Plan, based on the plan details.
